Mr Thomas Treseder M.B.B.S FRACS (orth)
Orthopaedic Surgeon

1st appointment

1st consultation

The first time that you see Mr Treseder you will need several things:
-You need to bring a referral letter from your referring doctor (usually your GP)
-Your insurance details (private fund, TAC, workcover, defence etc)
-You should also bring copies of all imaging that you have had- either in the form of a CD or hard copies and the reports that are associated with those tests. If you are coming for a second opinion then it is recommended that any operation notes and letters from your previous treatment are brought as well.

Write down any questions that you may have regarding your condition and its treatment.

It is advisable to wear clothing that allows Mr Treseder to examine you sufficiently. For upper limb issues singlets are often preferred and for lower limb something loose that can allow examination of the joint or limb involved.

You should also bring the details of your physiotherapist and other parties that you wish to be involved in your treatment to enable better communication between Mr Treseder and these individuals.
